If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This stretch of Little River - Middle Prong is 3 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. If you're coming from Sevierville it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. fresh water have people coming here. This is a somewhat short section so better bring some good walking shoes. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater

through winter nights. Big Hollow is a good place to explore right next door to Little River - Middle Prong; hiking along the Meigs Mountain Trail is nice fun. Little River - Middle Prong typically gets a great deal of rainfall; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest.
