The Indian Creek to Sequatchie River section of Little Sequatchie is 7 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. The put-in is not too far from Chattanooga, as you can see on the road map further down. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some     kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Indian Creek to Sequatchie River section is just one of them. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. Briefly about the general area: Blowing Spring is a picturesque location to explore while you're at Little Sequatchie; a great location is Alum Cove. For the period of the summertime, highs generally are in the 80's at Little Sequatchie, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights   come with lows in the 20's to Little Sequatchie. Jones Point is next to Little Sequatchie and is a pleasant place to pop by. Little Sequatchie is a relatively wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
