The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. This stretch of Morgan Creek is 1.2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V section of whitewater. There are no other sections to paddle along Morgan Creek than the Snow Falls to Laurel-Snow Parking Lot section. No need to look hard for hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river
for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. The scenic beauty of Tennessee and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. The starting location is a short drive from Crossville, please print out a copy of the road map
further down the page so you won’t get lost. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. When you're paddling down a Cumberland Plateau Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This stretch is very short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
