You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state     than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The campgrounds here at Mullens Creek are pretty good.
