The nature scenery of Tennessee and the water flowing gracefully down North Chickamauga Creek attract people from near and far. This is a pretty short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Tennessee is often tougher than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The Bowater Parking Area to Highway 27 section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. The nearby hotels are a bit
away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience.
