If you're coming from Chattanooga it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Tennessee are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Through the summertime months at North Chickamauga Creek highs are ordinarily in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 60's.
