This section of Pine Creek is 1.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV+(V) section by American Whitewater. The starting location is a short drive from McMinnville, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher
than in other states, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The nature scenery of Tennessee and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is the only paddling stretch
