This stretch of Rock Creek is 9 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV+ section by American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Bledsoe / Hamilton County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the     Retro-Hughes Road to Leggett Road bridge stretch is one of them. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Tennessee tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere.
