This stretch of Spring Creek is 28.6 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-V section of whitewater. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels     fill up quick. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The scenic beauty of Overton County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
