The Suck Confluence to Knuckle Head section of Suck Creek in Marion/ Hamilton County is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V+ section of whitewater. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming
back for more. The nature scenery of Marion/ Hamilton County and the cool fresh water beats anything. The Suck Confluence to Knuckle Head stretch is the only paddling stretch along Suck Creek. The beauty of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great plus for this river. You might
have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The campgrounds here at Suck Creek are pretty good. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Tennessee tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over.
