Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Tennessee are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The pipeline to Suck Confluence stretch of North Suck Creek in Marion/Sequatchie County is 2.4 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV+(V) section. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. A bit of exercise
and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The scenic beauty of Marion/Sequatchie County and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. For
all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The starting point is not too far from Chattanooga, as you can see on the road map further down.
