The Pipeline to Suck Confluence stretch of South Suck Creek in Tennessee is 4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V+ section. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Tennessee are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around
here. If you're coming from Chattanooga it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive
a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Whitewater paddling here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is a great experience. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's perfect for a one day trip. This is the only paddling stretch along South Suck Creek.
