This section of White Creek is 7 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and     kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The wild scenery of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is great. The natural beauty of Morgan County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. Briefly about the general area: White Creek is a rather wet place commonly with a lot of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at White Creek frequently   tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at White Creek.
