The wonderful Morgan/ Scott/ Fentress County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down White Oak Creek will make you feel great. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. The river winds through the Cumberland Plateau Mountains and you get great scenery. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in
nature have people coming from far and near. If you're coming from Harriman it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The Highway
52 to Clear Fork River stretch of White Oak Creek in Tennessee is 6 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. The Highway 52 to Clear Fork River section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system.

at some out of the ordinary stuff, have a look at Meeting Bend, and if you feel like a little side visit, try Polecat Hollow. Yeah, come up here to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains for a delightful time. A cool spot to have a look at near White Oak Creek is Horseshoe Bend.
White Oak Creek is a rather wet place typically with lots of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is October. During the long summer days at White Oak Creek highs are typically in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course,
typically in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to White Oak Creek.
