The scenic beauty of Travis County and the water flowing gracefully down Barton Creek make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. The Lost Creek to Loop 360 stretch of Barton Creek in Travis County is 5 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. Getting some good exercise and a chance
to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Lost Creek to Loop 360 stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. No shortage of good hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because
these hotels fill up quick. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Texas are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon.
