This stretch of Bear Creek is private property. Says Land Owner
This stretch of Bear Creek in Williamson County is 6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. The scenic beauty of Texas and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. Whitewater rafting and
kayaking spots in Texas tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to
drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are no other sections to paddle along Bear Creek than the Cty Road 274 to North Fork San Gabriel River section. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
