The Clairemont to Old Glory stretch of Brazos River - Double Mountain Fork is 64 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III section. The scenic beauty of Texas and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
