This section of Cibolo Creek in Comal Bexar County is 18 miles long and is a class II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Texas is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The natural beauty of Texas and the cool fresh water have people coming here. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming     from far and near. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. This is the only paddling section along Cibolo Creek. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good places for that around here. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
