The wonderful Texas scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. This section is very short so no need to bring snacks.

While you're here at Colorado River you can take a hike along the Inks Lake State Park Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Colorado River is close to the national average; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January.
Through the summer at Colorado River temperatures are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down
 
it sinks down to the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Colorado River fall into the 30's.
