The wonderful Texas scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This is the only paddling section along Crabapple Creek.
