The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. Lodging is available near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The campgrounds here at Furneaux Creek are pretty good. The nature scenery of Denton County and the beautiful way the     water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more.
