CLASS II+     12 miles

The starting location is a reasonable drive from Uvalde, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking
river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. If you hurry you can run this section in a day
but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your camp stove. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. The natural beauty of Texas and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come.
