  This stretch of San Francisco Creek is 22 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Texas and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There arenít any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater rafting and kayaking
    in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the rivers in this state are not very demanding. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. Since you're
on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.

San Francisco Creek is a location that is reasonably arid typically. September is when
you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 90's at San Francisco Creek; the overnight is rather chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to San Francisco Creek.
