  Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Texas is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. The nature scenery of Texas and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations
    in advance you're all set. There are no other sections to paddle along Sanderson Creek than the Mofet to Rio Grande section. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are not so many other good places for that around here. There are campgrounds
quite near the river where you can camp. The Mofet to Rio Grande stretch of Sanderson Creek in Texas is 17 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater.

Luis Guerra Springs is always fun to check out, and Seminole Canyon is a good place to spend some time. Not much rain falls here at Sanderson Creek; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is January.
