If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This is the only paddling section along Sandy Creek. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations     in advance you're all set. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip.
