If you're coming from Kerrville it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The natural beauty of Llano County and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon. for a hike along the Echo Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Sixmile Creek gets a typical amount of annual rain. The month with most of the rain is May; January meanwhile is the driest month.
