This stretch of Spring Creek River in Collin Dallas County is 3 miles long and is a class II(III) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The average Texas whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than those in other states, so if you're visiting here
do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The put-in is not too far from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nature scenery of Collin Dallas County and the cool fresh water
make the trip here worthwhile. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. No need to look hard for hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There's camping available near Spring Creek River. This is the only paddling stretch along Spring Creek River. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good
