This entire stretch of water is best after rainstorms. Some areas have high speed runs and have great rapids. Go prepared you will get wet. The nature scenery of Texas and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle.     There are no other stretches to paddle along Spring Creek River than the Renner Road to Jupiter Road stretch. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. At Spring   Creek River through the summer months highs are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Spring Creek River.
