Take out point requires dragging boat up a steep incline. Also there are lots of man made obstacles to avoid, sever man hole covers protruding from the bottom. This stretch of White Rock Creek is 5.25 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is the only paddling stretch along White Rock Creek. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. The beautiful scenery of Texas and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile.
