Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. This is the only paddling section along Big Cottonwood Creek. When you're paddling down a Wasatch Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people.
