CLASS I-III 3.5 miles
Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Utah is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that rivers here are less demanding. The Bridge to confluence with East Fork stretch of Blacks Fork - West Fork is 3.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Utah and the water flowing gracefully down Blacks Fork - West Fork will make you feel great. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end
up sleeping in your car. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. If you're coming from Evanston it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The Uinta Mountains scenery is wonderful.
Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other rivers for that. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
