Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so better not forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. The Westwater to Rose Ranch section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other spots for that. You might     have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Colorado River.
