  The Cisco to Moab stretch of Colorado River is 47 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Utah and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you
    coming back for more. The Cisco to Moab stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The campgrounds here at Colorado River are pretty good. Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping
gear along. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Utah are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers in this state are suitable for beginners. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.

For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 30's with temperatures at Colorado River dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. At Colorado River you donít see much precipitation. Most of the rain falls during October; February is when it's the driest.
