Cisco to Moab section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS I-III 47 miles
The scenic beauty of Utah and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. The Cisco to Moab section of Colorado River in Utah is 47 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-III section of whitewater. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, so better bring your camping gear along. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are a few other stretches in this river system
that can be paddled as well. There's camping available near Colorado River. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here
in Utah are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners.
