A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The beautiful scenery of Emery County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. And of course,
there are campgrounds nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river
