The to Millsite Reservoir stretch of Ferron Creek is 4.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-IV section. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good places for that around here. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. For all you camping     people there are campgrounds nearby. The to Millsite Reservoir stretch is the only paddling stretch along Ferron Creek. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Utah are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. Briefly about the general area: Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ferron Creek. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Ferron Creek nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Hiking along the Blue Trail is nice fun. Ferron Creek is a location that is rather dried up typically; most of the rain falls throughout March; June is when it's the driest.
