The beautiful scenery of Utah and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Utah are often more forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time,     so pack your sleeping bag. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. There are no other stretches to paddle along Fremont River than the Torrey to Waterfall stretch. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: Near Fremont River you locate magnificent locations like Calf Canyon, and if you have time to spare, Capitol Reef National Park is a national park worth going to. It is very dried up here at Fremont River usually; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fremont   River, and the night is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fremont River.
