Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Utah is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This stretch of Fremont River in Wayne County is 16 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-V+ section. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Great exercise     and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This is the only paddling stretch along Fremont River. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Summertime highs at Fremont River regularly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's.
