Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Utah are easier than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping gear along. The beautiful Uinta Mountains scenery is an added bonus. There's camping available near Green River. The beautiful scenery of Utah and the playfulness of the water beats anything. Getting a good workout     and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good spots for that around here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Green River get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Green River. A magnificent location to go to right next door to Green River is Warren Draw.
