CLASS I-II 46 miles
The nature scenery of Uintah County and the playfulness of the water attract people from near and far. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but
you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping
gear. The Uinta Mountains scenery is wonderful. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots.
