The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Price, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. There's camping available near Huntington Creek. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Utah are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget     that rivers here are less demanding. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section of Huntington Creek is 12.5 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. This is the only paddling section along Huntington Creek. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. Briefly about the general area: During the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Huntington Creek. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Huntington Creek. Near   Huntington Creek you find McCadden Hollow which is a tremendous site to take a look at; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Chris Otteson Trail. At Huntington Creek you don’t see much rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and June is when it's the driest.
