The National Fish Hatchery to Green River confluence stretch of Jones Hole Creek is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The wonderful Uinta County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Jones Hole Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the National Fish Hatchery to Green River confluence stretch is the only one. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these
hotels fill up quick. The wild scenery of the Uinta Mountains is great. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. The average Utah whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be easier to run than
those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here.

A tour to Jones Hole Creek wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Jones Hole Springs, and going for a hike on the Jones Hole Trail is always a nice adventure. This river is so wonderful.
