This section of Ogden River in Utah is 5 miles long and has been rated as a class II-V section by American Whitewater. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Since you're on this site you are     probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other rivers for that. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Huntsville to Ogden section is one of them. The campgrounds here at Ogden River are pretty good. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. The beauty of the Wasatch Range is a great plus for this river. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Utah is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy.
