The natural beauty of Emery County and the water flowing gracefully down Price River will make you feel great. The Woodside to confluence with Green River stretch of Price River is 16 miles long and is a class III-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Price River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Woodside to confluence with Green River stretch is the only one. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so don't forget that many runs in this state
are very easy. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a
room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. The beautiful Book Cliffs scenery is an added bonus.
