The beautiful scenery of Sevier County and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Briefly about the general area: Nearby Soldier Canyon is a wonderful location to go if you're at Salina Creek, and
Salina Creek is right by the Oak Belt Trail. The friendly people of Salina like to hang out close by. For the period of the warm days of summer at Salina Creek highs are frequently in the 90's. During the moonlight hours
it's usually in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Salina Creek. Salina Creek gets very little rainfall.
