This section of Sevier River in Utah is 70 miles long and has been rated as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance     then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. Now this is a pretty long section, so better bring your camping gear along. There are no other sections to paddle along Sevier River than the Upstream of Panguitch to Salina section. Briefly about the general area: Sevier River is a location that is relatively waterless frequently; most of the rain falls through September; January meanwhile is the driest month. Don Spring is a charming location to visit while you're at Sevier River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Smith Canyon Trail. Summer at Sevier River arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
