You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Upstream of Panguitch to Salina section of Sevier River is 70 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. There are no other sections to paddle along Sevier River than     the Upstream of Panguitch to Salina section. The wonderful Sevier County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Sevier River beats anything. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. A stretch this long is of course too much for a one day trip, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. Briefly about the general area: Through the days of summer highs here at Sevier River get into the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows at Sevier River through the winter regularly drop into the 10's. Put some time aside to spend at Don Spring since   you're here at Sevier River, and Sevier River is right by the Smith Canyon Trail. Not much precipitation falls here at Sevier River; most of the rain falls through September while January is commonly the driest month.
