The beautiful scenery of Millard County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are no other sections to paddle along Sevier River than the US 89 to US 89 section. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: Throughout the warmest time of the year at Sevier River temperatures are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 80's while Sevier River overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 70's. Sevier River is a reasonably wet place regularly with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through September, and May on the other hand is the driest.
