CLASS I-III 40 miles
This section of Sevier River in Millard County is 40 miles long and is a class I-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The wonderful Utah scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Sevier River attract people from near and far. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The US 89 to US 89 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Sevier River. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're visiting

the general area: During the days of summer at Sevier River highs are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 80's while the cold winter nights at Sevier River are in the 70's. Sevier River gets a good deal of water; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is May.
