The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The scenic beauty of Utah County and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The starting point is not too far from Provo-Orem, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch of Spanish Fork in Utah is 3.3 miles long and it is classified
as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. This is a bit of a short stretch so no need to bring snacks. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Utah PandL Dam to
Spanish Oaks stretch is the only paddling stretch along Spanish Fork. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good places for that around here. Whitewater paddling here in the Wasatch Range is a great experience.

to spend at Cold Springs since you're here at Spanish Fork. North Bench is a nice spot to pop by while in the region It's always good to take a look at Castilla Springs. At Spanish Fork you don’t see much rainfall; the month of April is the wettest with most of the rain, and
the driest month is July. This is such a great river. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Spanish Fork; the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Spanish Fork are in the 10's.
