The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are less demanding. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping gear. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive     a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Strawberry River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Soldier Creek to Starvation Res stretch is the only one. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. The nature scenery of Duchesne County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here.
