The Sinawava to South Campground section of Virgin River - North Fork in Washington County is 8.5 miles long and has been rated as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Utah and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. The Sinawava to South Campground section is the only paddling section along Virgin River - North Fork. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. Lodging is available near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might
end up sleeping in your car. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.
Briefly about the general area: If time allows, Zion National Park is a national park
worth taking a look at, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Emerald Pools Trail. This river has it all. No need to travel far to stop by out of the ordinary stuff like The Streaked Wall, and you might also want to pay a visit to Court of the Patriarchs while you're here at Virgin River - North Fork. Do schedule some time to explore The Spearhead near Virgin River - North Fork if you have a chance.
