White River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Rangely to Green River stretch is the only one. Not     too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: At White River you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January.
