  Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Utah tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. The wonderful Utah scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Swift Creek to Reservoir section of Yellowstone River is 2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. The campgrounds here at Yellowstone River are pretty good. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either
    way in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. This stretch is short so no need to bring snacks. The Swift Creek to Reservoir section is the only paddling section along Yellowstone River. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time
in nature have a lot of people coming here. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater paddling here in the Uinta Mountains is a great experience.

A journey to Aspen Spring will fill your soul with wonderful feelings; Yellowstone River is near Cow Canyon which is unquestionably worth visiting. All through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Yellowstone River. When the night sets in temperatures sink down
 
into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Yellowstone River dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Uinta Mountains is so good! Don't leave Yellowstone River without first paying a visit to Grants Spring. Yellowstone River gets very little rain; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and March is when it's the driest.
