A very fun lazy river, floated down this many times as a child on inner tube. very clean :D Says Jason

The scenic beauty of Vermont and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff. This is one of a small number
of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. The Green Mountains scenery is wonderful. If you're coming from Bennington it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. No matter if you're
whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more.
