Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Vermont are easier than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
