The put-in location is a short drive from Burlington-South Burlington, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The Green Mountains scenery is wonderful. Mill Brook doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Jericho section is the only one. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Vermont is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. This section is long enough to enjoy a good     non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section of Mill Brook is 5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III+(V) section. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Briefly about the general area: If you like skiing, you're in luck; Cochran Ski Center is close to Mill Brook. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mill Brook. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Mill Brook   dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
