The Jericho stretch of Mill Brook in Vermont is 5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III+(V) section. The put-in is not too far from Burlington-South Burlington, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular
destination. There are no other sections to paddle along Mill Brook than the Jericho section. This stretch has has enough mileage, good for a one day paddling trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're
not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The beautiful Green Mountains scenery is an added bonus. There's camping available near Mill Brook. The wonderful Chittenden County scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Mill Brook beats anything.
